Replacing a fan clutch

Hello, friends. Engine Overheating - Does Your Engine Get Too Hot? Is it time to change the fan clutch? Fret not, as this may seem like a massive and innocuous task but is in reality something that you can achieve all by yourself. We will go through the process slowly and this time, if you follow every single step properly - hopefully with a bit of patience, everything should work out. We created this straightforward guide to help you replace a fan clutch and keep your car running cool.

A wrench is required for this step. Remove the fan blades from the clutch by carrying out using a wrench to undo its tight bolts. Be careful doing this so that you do not drop pieces. With the bolts loose, gently pull off the fan blades from the clutch. You may have to do a bit of wiggling, just be gentle.

The Importance of a Properly Functioning Fan Clutch

The next thing you will need to do is remove the fan clutch from the engine. Unbolt the fan clutch from the engine. Next, you will remove any wires or hoses that are clipped to the clutch. Keep in mind the location of where each thing is connected, so you can re-assemble later.

Now you can get your new AOWO fan clutches. Use the bolts that came with your new fan clutch to bolt it back onto the engine. Insure it is well be fixed tightly. Then, attach back all the wires or hoses you had to remove before. Always cross-reference to make sure that all the little bits put in a battery pack will allow your car to go from sad trombone noises, right back up and running smoothly.
